Today has been kind of rough….not really work wise and anything major. I just work up very irritable…..every little thing annoyed me. Even my noisy cat annoyed me and I usually don’t have any problem her.

I went to look over support tickets and I just wanted to smack people. I’m tired of seeing the same tickets over and over. Then some people are so annoying and stupid…..gggrrrr Most of the time it isn’t an issue, but today…..not a good one.

I finally motivated myself to go tanning, afterwards drove around in the area looking for more walking places and then when I came home attacked the weekly cleaning to help take the edge off. It helped some……not much.

I got some things done, no where what I wanted to do this weekend……but what else is new. I did ok yesterday on getting things accomplished so I guess that isn’t too bad.

I did get my walk yesterday, it was warm out….a bright overcast……

We do have some of the older taller trees near our neighborhood.

People love to plant such pretty flowers in their yards. I would love to have a yard for us to do that….doesn’t have to be a big one, just sunny.

I like the contrast with the blue/purple flowers in the background.

Believe it or not, but this is one tree…..I kept looking at the trunk to see if it was 2 different trees, but it wasn’t. I didn’t know that one tree could have 2 very different flowers.

Understanding Black Patriotism

**I’m glad to see this article in our weekly Time magazine. This really explains how I pretty much see the “crap” that keeps coming up about Obama’s pastor. It really explains the differences between how white and black in the US see and deal with our history and politics. It is sad that flag wearing in your face patriots don’t get it…..as far as I’m concerned you are not much of American if you accept everything blindly and refuse to see our warts and faults and question the establishment.

The personal trainer that I started told me last week that she was thinking of moving to Arizona due to family, but that she wanted to finish out her clients. I was thinking, well, this sucks, but at least I have time to think of who I want if I was going to continue it. Then the next session, find out that my last day with her was this past Monday! Icks!

Talk about short notice. But by that time Torn and I discussed who I wanted to go with. After being there for a few months, we’ve had a chance to observe the different trainers and we were in agreement, that there was only one of them that I was willing to try. When we have watched him with his clients you can see that he pays very close attention to their form and the proper way of doing things. Which is great, because I didn’t want someone who doesn’t pay attention and then you hurt yourself and you don’t get the proper workout. Looking at this guy, you can tell he takes his workouts serious.

So the only issue with my other trainer leaving was to make sure that I got who we wanted and the morning area for the workouts. It was pretty much if I didn’t get it, then I’m breaking my contract…..because my contract was with the trainer that was leaving. Well, it ended up working out and I got the trainer and got to keep my timeslot, which I didn’t think I would.

Today was my 1st day with my new trainer and DAMN! Did he work my ass off. I was sweating like I haven’t sweat since Florida and my legs were major jelly. But I did expect him to push me even further. My other trainer would have me work on chest with leg work on Mon, back and legs on Wed and then Friday put it all together. My new trainer was all legs today…..wow…..boy, am I out of shape. Of course, what pisses me off is my dang feet still hurt at times. =(

Things happen for a reason, I believe it did for my other trainer when she decided to move and it did for me. She had pushed me and got me started, but I believe that the new one I have will push me to the next level. Which includes working on my food intake. I had already got my intact down to 2000 calories a day, but he wants me to get to 1500-1800 to get a hit on the fat part and push my cardo on my non-trainer days. Because I lost maybe 4# and an inch on my hips….not my waist, but I did lost 1% fat….so that was good. But not what I really wanted to see after a month.

Well, the last 2 days was me playing catch up on things that I’ve ignored Thurs/Fri…..good that I got those caught up, but I still need to get my messages. I would’ve gotten to them, but we had a small tech emergency with the company I work for. Thankfully, our techs are great and got it taken care of.

We just got done watching the final of the John Adams mini series. It was extremely well done. We were impressed with how authentic that they progressed everyone with age and even showed how their teeth got worst with time. It has been a few years since I read that book, so I had to keep googling names and relations…..Wikipedia is GREAT for info.

It has been VERY weird on the weather here. We have had thunder, lightening, hail, snow, rain and sunshine…..each day. Starting at 500ft elevation and up they have been getting snow that sticks. Mt Hood, was suppose to get 8-10 inches. We had gotten hit with a jet stream from Alaska.

**This does not surprise me. The government is great at the no-bid contracts….gggrrr They never stop and think that there may be something better out there.  But personally, I smell a lobbyist or a political cronyism….I’m just too cynical.

From Monday until last night, I was pretty busy…stressfully. Now that I got those days caught up, I hit a brick wall on motivation today. I did get some work done this evening, just didn’t get as much done I should’ve. Depending on the weather tomorrow on whether or not I get much done. It is suppose to be nice tomorrow, before the cold front moves in. So if it is nice, I want to hit the park.

We watched the debates tonight. They both got their hits in, but I think Obama got more in. We are seriously debating on whether or not to register as dems so we can vote in the primary……The problem is that we don’t want to be on anyone registry.

Commentary: An ‘average’ American will never be president

**This author had a pretty good article on why a common man can’t be president………and honestly, would we want one? Look at Jackson? And some of our other presidents before and after Lincoln that were more “average. They sure didn’t leave that much of a mark and some actually made it worst. George W anyone? He may have went to Yale..due to daddy and granddaddy, but he sure is not very smart….he is pretty stupid overall.

I want a president who is smarter then me on the issues, looks at all the finer details but balanced with common sense. What is so bad about that?

Well, I started this earlier, then lost it.  Pissed me off.  So lets see what I can remember….it wasn’t much.

I was just sitting here, not doing much….not motivated to do much….even though I should do my messages…..probably will later….lol

I did start going through different blog themes/designs……I really need a new one here.  I think I found one that I like with a few changes.  Just need to see if it can be done and for how much…..since there is no way I can do it…lol

I’ve also been waiting for my picture gallery from yesterday to FTP to the server, so I can post them for all to see without overwhelming my blog.  It was a breath taking stunning day yesterday.  Today wasn’t too bad, about 10 degrees cooler and over casted….but nothing to motivate me to go for a walk.   We are going to be back into the standard rainy spring weather tomorrow.  I know we have beautiful weather coming but after yesterday I’m pretty inpatient.  I would love to have a few of those days during the week so we can go to the park and avoid the families.

I’ve been reading all the news stories on that polygamist sect…..it is sick.  It is one thing for consenting ADULTS (the key word) who want to have multiple marriages….but PUBERTY girls to men 2-5x times older to them….that is RAPE!   Fuck that!  Just because there is freedom to religion doesn’t give you the right to use to RAPE ……Then most of those women are brain washed and controlled….gggrrrrr  That group is no better then the extremist muslims…..and the KKK….

Got our Oregon ACLU cards in the mail the other day….that was cool, it is in our wallets next to our lawyer’s card.  =)

I hope everyone is having a good beginning of the week. I’ve been busy, but not the I’m losing my mind kind of busy….thankfully. Now I just need to focus on a few projects that I’ve been putting off, but just don’t feel like doing. Which sucks, because I now have some breathing room for it. It is kind of like an all or nothing thing….I have no idea what.

I originally started this last night…so I guess it is happy hump day…..lol

Well, I just finished up one big project today…..thankfully.  =)  That is one thing down.

It has slowed down from the crazy pace of last week, which is very nice, but now I just don’t want to do anything due to burn out.   I am going to have to force myself to get some things done…some of it isn’t too bad, just a pain to remember how to do it…..like backing up my firefox bookmarks and emails…..then I have to call sprint yet again….seem to think that we like to pay Florida taxes on our phones when we don’t even live there!  That is so annoying.  I’m so glad that we don’t plan on moving to any other state…..we felt more comfortable here within a week then we ever did in Florida after 3 yrs.  =)

Then I need to contact insurance again for the my job….we are opening another office in LA and need to get it taken care of it.  Then I really need to add more things to the store I handle.

I will say the only thing that has been issue since moving here is finding certain foods that we like.  For example, Open Pit BBQ, that is more of midwest thing…couldn’t get it in Florida.  My mom would ship us some from Indiana………lol   But I did find it online and ordered it a few months ago.  Right now, we can’t seem to find fresh ground horseradish for Torn.  So he found that online and ordered some.  What we don’t understand is that Oregon borders Idaho…but we can’t find Idaho potatoes and the ones we find are small.  We are use to big Idaho potatoes, so we are going to see if we can find that online.  =)  Now we need to find bread that we like…….I’ve been looking everywhere for homepride bread.  Just did a search and found this article : Wonder Bread bakery says region has gone stale  Hell, I didn’t even know that wonder bread made home pride.  =(

Been doing good with my workouts, but need to push myself more.  The workouts are hard and exhausting, but I’m not staying sore as much.  Which is actually a good thing, because my muscles are getting better on recovery, but makes me feel that I didn’t do enough….and that is even after feeling like I’m going to collapse during my workout with my trainer….lol  I usually see my trainer 3 days a week, but she had a family thing so I saw her this past Monday and I won’t see her until next Wednesday.  I’m trying hard to remember the different things that she has me do.

It is later then I thought it was and morning comes early for the gym.  =)

Current Mood: Stressing Out

Wow, I actually feel as if I have my mind. Earlier today I sure didn’t feel that way….thought I was going to lose it. So much to do so little time.

I just hate the fact that there is only 5 weekdays. That is when we want to get things done, when folks are in work and the kids are in school. But at the same time that is the only and best time to get business done when it comes to the phone calls and stuff. It is so frustrating sometimes……the damn limits of business hours and time zones…..ggrrr

Then I spend my evenings working on my job and not being able to work on things that I need to for us and me. I feel so guilty when a message doesn’t get answered in a decent amount of time or the fact that I can’t get a blog out a day…..I don’t even want to go tanning during the week because of the time it takes…I love my nails, but I HATE the time I lose on them

I can usually get some of our work done on the weekends, but that sucks. Because by that time it is piled up and has been neglected far too long. I should be able just to spend an hour a day to keep up with instead. I just want to be able to get the things done that we want to do without stressing time.

Doesn’t help that I’m going be starting my cycle soon. Makes me so irritable and stresses me to the max…..makes me just want to scream.

Enough venting….after my freak out, I got quite a bit of work done for my job. And I even got all my messages responded to. =) Now I need to find time this weekend to email people that I haven’t spoken to in a while and call my sisters, who I have been neglecting. =( And finalize my big project so I can get it done and over with. Then it is on to planning next week and the things we need and want to do.

While doing that, we are going to watch the Final Four. I’m going to enjoy that.

Wow, I have been busy as hell….work wise.

Saturday I did get most of my huge personal project done, now I just need to go over it this Saturday and finalize it. Now I have to attack the insurance forms for the new the office that the company I work for it opening. This is going to be interesting because I’m use to personal/car insurance not this kind.

Of course, with today being the 1st, I had to take care of the company pay……it was a big one this round. My goal tomorrow is the insurance and all of my messages. We are then going out to the only Japanese steakhouse that we have been able to find with a friend of ours. We tried it a few weeks ago and it was good. I love the way things are cooked in front of you and the performance that some of the cooks do.

What I find it weird is that this is Portland…..why isn’t there more Japanese steakhouses? They have such a hugh variety of restaurants except that…..a ton of sushi……..yuck! Though Torn doesn’t mind having that once in awhile…..blah…lol

Tried to do my cardo today on the treadmill……it was harder then usual. But I did get a good hard 30min in. I don’t know if the fact that my reading material was lacking in the end, because it is great distraction to the struggle. If I get my mind off of how hard it is, I don’t focus on wanting to stop…..plus, I really hate treadmills….lol

We watched Bush’s War that we recorded off of PBS……..well the part 1, lost part 2. =( Have we stated how much we HATE the motorola boxes that comcast has us use?!?!? We REALLY hate them, I never thought I would ever say this…but I miss brighthouse…..ggrrr

Alright, enough of that off beaten path. That episode was hard to watch. I so never wanted to beat so many people! I hate and despise Cheney & Rumsfield and their cronies..lets add that lawyer Yoo for making us no better then the nazis on how we treat our prisoners…..then Rice had NO backbone to do her job. The other 2 brow beat good men into their way, destroyed Colin Powell’s rep….those two need to be shot. I would so love them to be brought up on war charges, impeachment….something to throw their sorry asses in jail. 2 of the worst armchair warriors, who NEVER had the BALLS to serve, what a bunch of cowards and hypocrites.

Cheney and Rumass….reminds me of Darth Vader and the Emperor (Cheney), except Vader was redeemable.

Which reminds me that we should send a few more $ to the ACLU and Obama next week….
