We are here in Miami for the convention. We are staying at the Pelican Hotel. It is on South Beach…..we can now officially say that we have been here during spring break………lol It is a really unique hotel with the different themed rooms. But if you ever stay here, they are very small. The hotels down here have been here for years, so unless they have been stripped out and redone, they have worked with what they had.

This fan is very “industrial” sounding when going.  In other words, you really don’t want to use it unless extremely necessary………..grin

South Beach is something else. So many artificial folks with either too much money on their hands or too worried about making appearances. Yes, you see some nice looking folks, but it just so entertaining on the “show”. Folks seem to just like to walk the sidewalk, looking their “best” in their designer outfits and sunglasses, wanting to be seen and noticed but at the same time looking so nonchalant about it. It is kind of humorous. I guess it is fitting since the Verasci mansion is only 2 blocks down the road. =)

Most of the hotels have their restaurants with outdoor options.  I love it when it is this gorgeous out.

View from the table.  The gorgeous beach it just across the road past the dunes.  I love the fact that the hotels are not ON the beach….that is just so environmentally wrong, plus much hard for the public to enjoy them.

There are beautiful artful hogs parked up and down the street.  I would love to have one, if they weren’t so damn loud.

Some of the hotels/restaurants have the menus posted on the sidewalk (which I love for deciding where to eat) and sample dishes but some also have classic cars out front to attract attention.

I am enjoying hearing all the different accents and languages. I guess I’m not like most Americans, I enjoy it. If I get the opportunity I will try and start a conversion about their culture, since I love to learn about different people.

The drive down wasn’t too bad. Took long for my Dramamine to hit, so I didn’t get as much work done as I wanted. But it was nice having the sprint pci card for internet. These are addicting to have. =)

We do have a cam hooked up off my laptop in the hotel room.  We didn’t know how well the sprint cards would broadcast, so we only brought the 4000 logitechs.  We may bring a 5000 next time for better quality.   Anyway, if you were watching yesterday Torn hooked me up with a gentleman that I fucked a few months ago. He came over for a quick and very satisfying session.  If you were watching, you would’ve enjoyed it……….grin  Later while Torn and I were chilling, I decided to give him a blow job with a very happy ending.  I hope you got to see it……….grin
We hooked up with a good friend Lincoln and Seska, both work for Homegrown video and Seska has had her own site for years and featured on HBO shows and stuff. It was great to be able to hang with folks that we can talk about what goes on in the business. When you don’t have other folks around where you live, it really limits your conversation since that is what you do.

I’m getting anxious about the rude store. I see so much potential but don’t have the time to really dig into it. It doesn’t help that I’m waiting on the bank to set some things up. I think that is so annoying. I feel like my hands are tied. We are in the process of setting it up where I’m totally independently running it, but are waiting on paperwork……….icks. I really don’t see me sticking around at my day job in the same role that I am in for much long. Just for the simple fact that I have way too much to do here and want it to succeed even further then I think it can. But that is the goal of this store, so I can work full time for them. =) For now I guess I can show Torn some of the things I do to help out. =)

Current Mood: Stressing Out

Alright, I’m totally stressing about everything…….time wise.

I’ve been working my butt off since Saturday, my day off Friday was spent running around. Before and after work I have been taking care of the rude store, when it comes to orders. Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to add things to it like we need to.

I also had to pack and get ready for this weekend……

I really need to answer my messages and things like that.

Then I’m stressing at my day job. Since I’m taking an extra day off this week, it is one day less for me to get things done. Plus we have our boss coming in for our quarterly “report card” Friday (and I’m not there), so I really wanted to make a dent in the office so we get a good score……uuurrrgggg

I do have the next 4 days off, but that it is a working and networking weekend. The good thing is that I will get some down time to chill with some of our great friends from the Pacific North West. =)

We do have a 3-4 hr drive down and Torn went out and got our wireless internet cards. So (fingers crossed, car sick wise) I should be able to get some actual work done.

I am proud that I made sure to call my nephew on the 23rd and my mom today to wish them happy birthdays. I just need to remember to call my niece this Saturday for hers. =) I can’t wait to see them next month.

I better head to bed……it is going to be a long day tomorrow……….drive wise.

We are heading to Miami in the morning for http://exxxoticamiami.com/default.htm, the “KatVixen 2” (under Torn_Rose on Rude) will be down until we check into the hotel, I wanted to shut them off now, so we don’t forget to do it before we go because if we left them running we would not be able to broadcast from Miami. We will be doing shoots in Miami, so keep an eye on “KatVixen 2” house all weekend, we have not set up times for shoots, but we know we will be shooting.

We will be home Sunday afternoon and will turn all the cams back on then.

It has been a long day.  I had to go into work really early, the good thing is that I get out of work a lot earlier.  So I actually get to enjoy some sunlight.

Except for being died tired, it hasn’t been too bad of a day.  I got a lot of work done at work and a few things here.  So that was good.

I have a ton of stuff that I need to get done both at my day job and here at home before next weekend.  Plus I’m looking for time to really try out my new skates.  =)  Just not enough time or days in a week.  I just need more days off.  I would love that.

Sometimes I watch the news and get pissed at the state of things. Then I have a post all built up, but by the end of the evening when I’m writing by brain is just so tired.

We are suppose to have an appointment with the insurance agent tomorrow, but I’m going to have to cancel. There is just way too much to do this week.  I’ll have to reschedule for next week.

I think it is time to chill.

I actually got some work done last night. So I was pleased with that.  I still have a lot more to do.  I really want to have a huge selection at the store.

I’ve been trying to figure out how I’m going to get things done this week before we leave for Miami.  Some how I need to get my nails done, see the insurance agent, pack…………icks….on that note, what color should I do my nails in?  Blue, different shade of purple……….reds???  I also need to stay up with the store.

I was totally unmotivated today at work.  I did get some work done, but it wasn’t as productive as it should have been.

I did come home to my new skates!  Alright!  That was cool.  I had to try them on.  They fit so well and it felt like old times, except it was a little scarier since I was out of practice.  Now I need to find time to be able to use them……gggrrr

I have an extremely early day tomorrow.  So I’m going to head to bed.  =)

I’m just in a mood today……….ggggrrrrrrr……I’m irritable…..doesn’t help that I’m stressing over stuff from people in general.
It has to be my monthly. It doesn’t help that I haven’t been taking my vitamins for it. It is hard to take 4-5 vitamins every dang day…..icks. Makes me gag.

About the only thing that I got done today is the bed sheets have been changed, we went to the store, & I finalized our taxes.

We did order a male and female hanging body mannequins and a head one. So Torn got some pics taken for the rude store. Us trying to poise in stuff just wasn’t working.

So now I’m going to try and catch up on all my members messages. I’m sorry guys, I’ve just been swamped. =(

Then I have some work that I need to do for Torn and then on to the store.

Sadly, it is 79 degrees out, sunny, but the pool is only at 74…..just a few more degrees and then I could fully enjoy it.

Been a busy day at work.  Our boss is coming in tomorrow for a visit, I thought it was for our monthly report so I was trying to do extra work.  That is ok, we look good.  =)

My mind is spinning on all the stuff we got going on.

Right now watching Tenn. kill Ohio St.  =(  SEC seems to have their number this year, as Torn observed.

I know I was going to write about something, but I just went blank……….lol  So I guess I’ll try again tomorrow.  =)

Current Mood: Beautiful Day

We had another follow up appointment for Torn’s foot early this morning.  I also spoke to the doc about my foot, since Torn wants me to see the doc about it.  I knew that I was doing what I needed…….so there.  =)  But the doc also did give me a prescription to help and had me schedule an appointment at the same time as Torn’s last follow up.

Anyhow……….I had the perfect opportunity to get some work done.  That didn’t happen, I was tired so I had laid down.  I didn’t think I would actually sleep, but I did.  I feel much better because my brain just wasn’t working earlier.

Thankfully I had work yesterday to get my mind off of things.  We got a funny management team and they make me laugh and I really needed that.  I got a bunch done there, so I was pleased.  Trying to get my mind into work mode, since I will be leaving here soon for it.  I got a lot to do.

Now, if I could’ve gotten a few things done around here….icks….including messages and shot descriptions….now I’m kicking myself in the ass for that………..gggrrrr

Today has not started out very well.  There has been minor stuff and other stuff to drive me nuts.  Good thing I’m going to work, maybe it’ll help put things in a better view………….gggggrrrr  I hate drama

It was a work day today.  We got some new monitors at work………that was so cool.  We really needed it.  They knew that I would love to hook them up, so they left it for me.  =)  See, they love me……..grin

Got my invite to the April wedding.  Weird, looking at the map for the wedding and trying to use my memory of the place to figure where I’m going.  I haven’t been there in a few years.  But I can’t wait to see everyone.

It is also, the 4th anniversary of the war in Iraq.  =(  ABC went through some of the pictures of the men and women that we have lost………..it feels as if they have been wasted.  I really hope not, but with this administration……….
