Wow, it is hard to believe that it has been 13yrs since Torn and I meet. It was a long night of talking and getting to know each other……..

Today was a little bit more productive, not as much as I would’ve liked. If I had left the office sooner for the patio, I would’ve done much better. But we are still trying to catch up on all of our programs that we recorded while we were on vacation. I have a love/hate relationship with the tv……..I hate the way it ties me down and distracts me, but there are a few shows that I love to see and gives me the laughter I need. It is annoying….

Torn got his rollerblades a few days ago and today we went out and tried to learn how to use them. I can get a good glide going, but I don’t know if my blades are too big or something. Because I’m fighting the blades to do what I want, they keep turning out. Torn is wondering if the blades are too tight and that is why I’m not moving as smoothly as I should. It was starting to piss me off, cuz I know I can do it. I can feel that I’m close, but it feels like I’m fighting them.

I use to roller stake a lot when I was a kid and was pretty quick on them. Hell that is all I did for 4yrs was to go to the roller rink with my friends. So I know I can do it.

I got my vacation pics from the sony up for my family and updated a few things. Laundry, emails and a few messages got answered. That leaves vacation pics from the nikkon to do, balancing the check book, receipts, upload mood icons & I still need to the pics from this summer done for my family.

I did update my bio and things for the site design. Just need Torn to go over it to double check my wording so I can send it to our tech guy.

I’m going to make my to do list for next my next day off. So I have a game plan. I’m a game plan type of person; once I have one I can get so much done. I just haven’t been able to focus on one lately.

Well, I need to head to bed. I have an early and long day tomorrow.

As you were able to see from my previous post, the weekend was a rough one for me and lets leave it at that.

I’m sorry that I haven’t been updating as frequently as I should. Between work and everything else, it just wasn’t going to happen.

Today was a very well earned day off. We did the early voting thing that they do here in Florida, did some errands and caught up on some of our DVR recordings. I really need to make a list, since I’m not getting anything accomplished.

I really like the early voting. It helps when it comes to work scheduling.

We had a cold front move in temporarily, it was nice. It got into the 40/50s overnight and in the 60s during the day, it was beautiful. No air condition, windows open and yet still able to have that chill in the air that we need to sleep.

I had just put on our flannel sheets a few days before and it was perfect for snuggling into. I love the softness of it. Some of my favorite material.

Unfortunately, the cold front didn’t last. So now we are stuck having the air on so we can sleep.

I’ve just been working like crazy the last few days. I just realized Sunday that my last weekend off was while on vacation Oct 1 and my next weekend off won’t be until January. =(

I’m not too happy about it. I haven’t had any real football Saturdays to enjoy. I miss my Saturdays not really for the football, since I’d rather be at the games then watch it on TV, but for the time that Torn and I share while watching the games.

Working Saturdays isn’t really a big deal, except during the football season. I’m suppose to get one weekend off a month, so I enjoy them while I can…..but when I don’t get them, it adds to frustration when trying to balance your life for quality.

I had the last 2 days off. It doesn’t feel as if I’ve gotten anything accomplish. Been running around and I hate that since that gives me less time to get anything done at home. I did get the laundry and the bathrooms done, if that counts for anything…..gggggrrrr

Torn did get me hooked up with a different gentleman each day…..grin So that was fun.

But from now on, I need at least one of my days off where I don’t have to put make up on, go anywhere and so forth…..I need my day, so I can get my stuff done and take my time and chill. I didn’t even get to spend time outside to work as I normally do and it was beautiful for it. Torn understands, so he’ll work with it. =)

I did have a show on Sex Cam Central this morning, for those who were looking for my shows. =) I’m probably going to have a show Monday & Wednesday morning next week. We’ll see how things are going.

Thought of the Day:

How fucked up is someone, that insults you, calls you names and yet still expects you to want to be friendly with them? What do they not get? Are they that self absorbed?

It is both pretty ballsy and pretty sad that they don’t get it. But then they think they are always right.

Ok, We have been booted off HouseCamZ effective 6pm EST 10/17/2006, the main and only reason is we do not see eye to eye with the owner of camz, we were friends at one point, but he stabbed us in the back on more then one occasion and he then stabbed his business partners in the back as well, (as you noticed Sammy4u.com was also no longer on HouseCamZ). Bad news is, we will be with out House Cams for a week or longer, we will be joining a new system ASAP once it is in “beta” which could be days, could be a few weeks, BUT IT IS COMING. Please be patient with us and contact us if you have any issues with this. We will leave the camz link up, but honestly I am expecting that to be removed as well, we shall see.

Torn

We started our day with a bike ride and then went off on our errands that we had. We finally got Torn a very needed new chair, clippers for our youngest cat and took care of a few other things. I was very pleased with what we got done.

I did get our receipts done! Yes, yes………that makes my life easier. I still haven’t gotten to our vacation pictures. I would have to be inside and hooked up to the hard drive….icks. I just want to be able to stay outside just a little longer…..grin So when I do go in for the news, I may start getting myself organized for it.

Just wanted to say hi.

I had to work today; it was a long day since I didn’t much sleep the night before. I had my sleep adjust since we got back. But Torn hadn’t and with me working nights Friday & Saturday, I stayed up later then normal with him. So I could not sleep worth a damn last night……icks!

I plan on being in bed by 11 tonight and take a Tylenol PM so we can get up by a decent time tomorrow, aiming for 08:30. We want to go for a bike ride and then have our errands. I like to get those over ASAP, so I can chill out at home and get some work done.

Work was okay for today. My relationship with my boss has improved greatly. But we are thinking that our office is cursed. Every time we think we are fully staffed or have a handle on projects, some one quits, calls off or some other thing……..like personal drama, which neither her or I like. It is like we can’t win for losing, but we keep plugging at it. I have hope, because with out hope there is nothing. So that is something I like to give to myself, makes life more enjoyable. =)

Alright, I think I’m going to attempt a few receipts so I have less to do tomorrow. =)

Very cool! I believe that I got my phone programmed as much as I can. I am missing a few of my relatives’ numbers and some of my old workers from Indiana. But I got the rest. =)

I also got our receipts organized, thankfully. That will make my life much easier when I go to enter them. =) Fingers crossed that I get those done after work tomorrow. So that will allow me to work on vacation pictures on Tuesday after our errands. It is almost too much to wish for……….lol So send me your positive thoughts on it………..grin

Well, hell I could get a head start on them if I didn’t have to work in the morning…….icks. Have a good night.

Lets see, where did I leave off…….Oh yes, Torn pulled me from taking a nap and we went and did some sightseeing. The day before we walked a few of the local city blocks checking out the local shops. This day we wanted to go to Washington Park.

We first stopped at the Japanese Gardens. I believe it is one of the largest Japanese Gardens in the nation. It was beautiful. It was so soothing and relaxing. I’ll try and remember to post pics once I get the opportunity.

We then headed to another part of the park called the Rose Gardens. Absolutely stunning! I love roses and to see all the different kinds and smells…..I was in heaven. I wanted to take a pic of just about every single flower……lol

I didn’t know that Portland was called the city of roses. Even when walking by some of the more worn down houses you can see and smell roses. It was really cool.

The last thing we went and saw in the park of the Oregon ‘Nam Memorial. Of course, I cried, I always do. The set up was called the Garden Of Solace. I liked how they divided up their war dead by the years, gave the history for that year, both locally and for the war. It was a really good display on how life goes on even in such rough times.

By this time we were about to crash. So we didn’t go to the zoo, so that will have to wait until either our next trip or for when we move out.

We got back to our friend’s and ended up chilling out to the point that when we went to lay down for about an hour we all crashed for 3 hrs!!! Next thing we know it is about 7:30! We really did need our sleep. =)

Lincoln made some tender chicken for dinner and then the guys went to chill out while I attacked our luggage. Took me a few hours, but I got it all reorganized & packed up since we were leaving after breakfast the next day.

Our next destination was just north of Seattle. We went and stayed with our friends who run thethrillhammer.com , Allan & his wife.

That evening we went out to a great Italian restaurant that they go to. I’ve never eaten so much garlic! =) We then had to walk it all off as they gave a small tour of the area and a beautiful local park.

The next day, our hostess gave us a small tour of Seattle. We visited Pikes Place Market, Seattle Aquarium, & the Space Needle. It was another stunning day out.

The next day was football. We watched Purdue get killed at Norte Dame. =( So not cool.

But we did have plans for the night. Our friend, Farrell, from homegrownvideo.com and his girlfriend had us over for dinner with a few other web folks and non web folks. Our friends from the thethrillhammer.com were there, Furrygirl, Trixie & Tucker, and Lincoln came on up. It had it all, great food, great company and great conversation. I love small gatherings like that.

The next day it was time for us head for Seattle for our last night. We had booked a room downtown just so we could get a feel for the city. It was a Sunday so it wasn’t nearly as crowded as it normally would be. We walked it, I don’t know if we were in the wrong part of the city, but we couldn’t find any real place to eat that didn’t require a dress code and everything else was closed due to it being Sunday. Hell, I was just looking for a sports bar, I love eating in those places.

So we ate at the restaurant next to the hotel. It wasn’t bad, it was mediocre. Especially after this past week of food we had. Everyone we stayed with were great cooks and/or they took us to mind blowing restaurants. So we were a little spoiled. =)

The flight out was the normal annoying stressful thing it always is………lol Nothing new there. But our trip ended way too soon and left us craving that part of the country.

It is beautiful out today, here in Florida. I had put myself on the patio to get some work done. It had cooled to the low 80s for the height of the day, so it was hot enough to jump into the pool when the heat got to me. It is evening now so the temps have become even nicer. It is a relief to be able to open out doors to our screen and let air circulate.

Torn made his fabulous soup today. The only thing missing, that he pointed out, was the chilly weather to fully enjoy it.

I got the majority of my emails done, a post done at pichunter.com up, private messages answered, descriptions for the shots we took and I’m now finishing this post up that I started in the airport almost a week ago. So I think I did good today. =)

For my next day off, my goal is to get the vacation pictures edited. We haven’t even started those and we have about 1000 easily. =) And one day, I will program my phone………lol
