Well, things are getting as back to normal as it can with 3 kids…………lol Mom & dad left today. Mom is missing the kids even though they drive her nuts when they are around……..normal for her, she did that with my sister and I when we were younger….grin

It was a good weekend, busy and tiring, but good. I love been able to visit with my family. Spent a lot of time in the pool and you can tell once you get a look at me. I actually found a bikini that doesn’t fall off while diving under. So I guess for the 1st time in years I will have some tan lines…….grin The 6 year old loves to ride on my back in the pool. I can’t go any where without her trying to jump on, the silly goose.

Uncle Torn sneaks up on the kids enough that once he goes under and swims towards them, they take off. =)

Today was Torn & my 9th anniversity. Luckily we already celebrated, with having the kids and working, it won’t have happened….lol But Torn did get me some beautiful roses, a card and an adorable stuffed lion and tuttle pie for dessert. I think I’ll name the lion Sid…..not sure. I love you honey!! Married for 9, been together for 13 in Oct. I think we are doing pretty good…grin

I would love to write more, but I’ve been up since 3:30am & I need to get up by 5:30am tomorrow. I hope to have more of a routine within the next few days where I can actually do a proper update.

Since I won’t be able to update my blog until at least Thursday, here is one last teaser………grin

We just got done with a hell of a thunderstorm. It was loud. We sat out on the patio, watched the water drift in, and enjoyed the change in temperature. It was cool

We have been busy as heck the last few days. My family will be here Sunday afternoon and I have been stressing on getting everything done around the house.

I came home yesterday and Torn was so sweet and made my life easier. He got a great portion of the cleaning and organizing done. I did get the mopping & a portion of laundry done, even though I was about to collapse with exhaustion since I hadn’t gotten enough sleep the last few nights.

It made today so much easier. We did our errands 1st thing this morning, then we attacked the remaining of the cleaning and organizing. There are only a few things I didn’t get done today and that was email & blog/LJ related. I will work on my emails tomorrow after work, since I won’t be able to get to them until Thrus of next week the earliest.

We did spend some time jumping into the pool. Though I think Torn was trying to drown me as we played with the nerf-like football we picked up today………..grin We had a lot of fun.

One of the things I wanted to work on was to make some more icons for my LJ. I haven’t messed with the online admin area ofmy LJ in forever since I use semagic to update my LJ. I didn’t know that I now have 42 icons! That is so cool. I love my orginal 15, but I wanted some more to spice it up. I don’t know if they changed the amount of icons for paid users or someone paid for me to have some more (I haven’t had time to research it), I’m just happy to have them. I already made a new one of my ass and on the beach & added a few more of Torn & I…………grin

Unfortunately, I won’t have time to work on that until sometime next week and probably after the kids go to bed. Which leads me to housecamz.

HouseCamZ will come down Sunday and will not be back up until Wednesday, after my folks leave. Now we will have the kids until July. So the only HouseCamZ that will be up will be the master shower and the bedroom. The bedroom may occasionally be off due to the movements of the kids. They normally do not come into our room, but we play it by ear.

My folks left from Indiana today and are spending the night in Georgia. They will be visiting family on the other side of the state Sunday before heading here. I’m so looking forward to seeing them. I miss them.

Time for me to get my ass to bed. I have to get into work early.

An Inconvenient Woman
**Just think how much better women would’ve been treated and thought of in both christian and muslim faiths if her role would’ve been acknowlegde. But no, cultural prejudices on gender had to persist and enslave have the human race based on sex alone. If you look at where women stand today internationally, we haven’t come as far as we would like to believe. We are just better off then women in other countries and we just don’t want to see what they are going through. But if we did, we would have to acknowledge that we really haven’t come that far and we could easily go back.

Women vets refuse ‘victim’ label
**I had planned to comment on this awhile ago. I believe these women should be held to as proof that they can serve as fully as men. They have suffered the conquences of war and have endured, for better or worse, just like the men. Women have been suffering the conquences of war since man learned how to inflict pain onto one another. The difference is serving is that they have been given the choice on how to suffer war, whether hiding in a corner or being allowed to take their fate in their own hands.

Started the day off with a show on Sex Cam Central. Seemed to be a few more assholes then usual in chat. Torn and I are going to see about op’ing one of our regulars so we don’t have to worry about it while we are having fun. It is kind of mood killer when you do a quick glance at chat and see some moron’s response. But enough of that vent.

We don’t know when our next show is. My folks will be here with the kids a week from today. My folks will be leaving either that Tues or Wed and leaving the kids behind for 6 weeks. So I really don’t know if we are going to even try to do shows. With my work schedule and then the only way will be is if Torn took them to the park/beach and left me to do the shows. I just don’t know. I also don’t know if I want to add stress by worrying about that kind of juggling. But we’ll see.

I’ve kind have taken it easy today. Tried laying out, but it was why too hot for me last any real length of time. Which was sad since this was my last full day to go all natural before the family visit. I did jump in and out of the pool today, so that was nice. I’ve always loved the water. Some of my earliest memories was spending lots, lots of time in the pool or lake. My nieces and nephew are like that so I think it is a family trait.

I did respond to a few of my private messages and update my message board.

What I think I need to do now is to edit a few banners and maybe find a few pics for someone. Not sure yet.

When I’m out on the patio I find that I get more done. Once I go into the office, I surf and do nothing. I don’t know if it cuz Torn and I spend so much time in there that it has become my lazy time, while when I set myself out here I try to accomplish a few things. What is nice about being out here is when I get too hot, I just jump in the pool………..grin

Bernardini Wins Preakness, Barbaro Out
*** Torn recorded and waited for me to come home so we could watch it together. He even avoided going to EPSN and avoided the sports news on CNN. It was a heart breaking to see what happened Barbaro. When you saw his leg……I just cried. Unfortunately it took out our enjoyment of the race. =( Even if we weren’t pulling for him, we hate to see that happen to an animal. I just hope he pulls through.

We had a good day today. Got home from the b&b, laid down for a bit and went horse back riding.

I haven’t done that since the summer of ‘88 in Alaska. It is amazing how natural it felt to be back in the saddle. Torn posted the pics from it. =)

Once we got home, we did the pool thing and then chilled.

I did get the never ending laundry caught up and litter done. Otherwise it was a couple of weeks of emails done.

I had a few things in mind to post about, but I’m tired & I’m feeling kind of out there, so those thoughts aren’t forming very well…..lol

It was just nice to spend some quality time together. =)

We are watching LOST. We are at a bed & breakfast so we can’t just fast forward through the commericals….lol

This is our anniversary celebration. We will be married for 9yrs on the 31st. With the family coming down, we decided to celebrate a few weeks early. So today we did a bike ride, packed for the evening, went to the beach, and headed to the b& b.

Our feet where covered in sand from the beach. Torn jumped into the shower and I started a bubble bath in the jacuzzi. Of course we were going to do more then just wash up…………grin We use these b & b for shots and some fun. By the end we weren’t taking as many pics as we were torturing each other, but that is how it should be……………grin

After we were done, we chilled and watch some news. We had reservations for a french restaurent within walking distance, but it was early so we walked the historic district and checked out some of the shops. It was the 1st time either of us have been to a french restaurent. What worries me about trying new places is getting something that you end up not eating. But we did pretty good on our selections and really enjoyed ourselves.

Now we are chilling out and while watching our tv show addiction…………..grin Tomorrow we are going horseback riding. I haven’t done that since Alaska. I’m excited and nervous all at the same time, since I haven’t done it in so long.
