Well………….my day had an interesting beginning. Started with a rough day at work yesterday to crashing last night around 01:30 since I didn’t have to work today to waking up from a dead-sound sleep to my phone going off at 07:00. It was one of my managers, she had a female medical emergency and she was freaking out. She was suppose to open the office this morning and had called me to see if I could.

She didn’t have the new guy’s number (and personally I didn’t want him called since it was his 1st week and I didn’t want to freak him out), she didn’t call our boss since she was coming in later that afternoon and would’ve made for an extremely long day.

The whole time she was freaking out I couldn’t understand why my phone was so god awful loud that it was hurting my ears. When I finally got out of the bedroom and moved to the office, so to give Torn some peace, I discovered that some how I had turned on my speaker! Holy cow! I was so confused and lost…….I just keep looking at the phone trying to figure it out. I thought I hit the right button so I could talk regularly and ended up hanging up on her…….doh! She called back, by that time I had gathered some of my wits together to let her know that I was going in.

Luckily, I had showered last night except for washing my hair (I hate going to bed with wet hair & do that in with my morning shower), so all I had to do was wash my face, brush my teeth, put my hair up (since it wasn’t going to do anything) & try to dress myself. How I got myself together enough to get out the door I have no idea.

I got to work, while eating two granola bars, surprising my fellow workers that I was there. All things considering, with my brain not wanting to work correctly, I was able to get some stuff done. I was very proud of myself since I felt like a loopy dork all day.

I called the boss in the afternoon, because if I was here today I wanted tomorrow off. Which I knew would be no problem, I just wanted to make sure it was okay with her that the new guy opened tomorrow since we had certain projects we had to get done. She was cool about it. When she got there, I left shortly afterwards, even though the actual full shift had 3 more hours to go. I would’ve stayed with I was with it more. But I was so out of it.

While picking up the mail the UPS guy passed me…………I knew what that meant. =) That I was getting my VAIO and I was already feeling good since the mail had a couple of things that Torn had ordered. To my surprise the UPS guy had a huge box and a little box…….not only did I get my laptop, Torn got his desktop & monitor that he just ordered Monday from Dell.

We munched down some food and started to dig out our new toys. =) It is weird that VAIO doesn’t come with a back up CD. It has it own thing back up system, in fact it barely came with anything. It does provide a way to make back up cds. The only problem is unlike other back ups with individual cds, for individual programs…………you get stuck with all that crap that they put on at the factory. =( I hate all that excess shit that I don’t need and clutters up my files. But I went and made the back ups, cuz I don’t trust anything.

When Torn was putting the desktop together, he noticed that it didn’t have a firewire! We thought those came about standard now a days. So he was frustrated that he didn’t notice it on the specs when he ordered it, cuz now we have to pick one up. The main use of this new desktop is to edit video and you can’t edit video without a firewire.

We decided to jump into the pool to relieve our frustrations. It was great! It was a little strong with the chemicals, but we were still able to enjoy it. I’m so looking forward to being able to spend more time in it tomorrow.

We then went and got the firewire stuff and we have been working with the setups ever since. I’m probably going to set up both my notebooks on the patio so I can get the exact settings I want and jump in the pool whenever I’m sticky…………grin……..boy, does that sound like a plan to me.

I’m so looking forward to my day off!

My blog is back!! (do a little snoopy dance) Thanks Simon! Hopefully when our designer redoes it there won’t be any more problems. =) Sorry for all the grief is caused. =(

Drum roll please……………..My POOL is BLUE!!! It is a little cloudy, but it is no longer green! That is so cool. I’m actually going to be able to use is tomorrow as long as it isn’t thundering……grin

And I should be getting my VAIO tomorrow. So I may have a great day off tomorrow. =)

All I need to make it better, is a good night at work. =) But it is still great start for my day.

Now I need to finish off my receipts so it’ll be easier to to transfer all the info at once, but I with the new laptop I’m going to have to upgrade my quickbooks. Since my version is a 2001, it gets harder to register……….very annoying.

We are starting to see the bottom of the pool! It is still green, but no way as dark and pond like. Maybe I will be able to use Thrusday on my day off………grin……keep your fingers crossed.

Well, our pool is still green…………..it is slowly getting better. Pool guy was out today to put more stuff in it.

Even with the pool disappointment, we had a pretty good day for my day off.

I didn’t have a show today, that time of the month and was feeling miserable for that. Though later in the afternoo we made a video of giving a hand job to Torn outside………….grin

Yesterday we finally got around to moving our desks around. His desk is an “L” and we put mine against his so the 2 desks make more of a “T” For that we needed a new TV that is smaller then the big thing we had. So we went shopping around and found this TV, So we are pretty happy with the set up in our office now. =)

I’ve ordered my new notebook. I got something simple since I don’t need what Torn needs. I got me a VAIO. It’ll be here by Friday. =) I’m looking forward to it.

We also brought our tickets for Washington/Oregon for Sept-Oct area. We want to check the area out to see where we would like to move to.

Somehow I’m going to have to find time for a wedding and for Torn and I to visit his folks. We haven’t seen them in a few years.

I had so many different thoughts to put in here earlier………thinking, cool, I have a good post for you………but I waited too long and now my mind is blank….icks! lol

Alright, something got totally goofed in my blog, don’t ask me how, but it sucks. They are now redirecting my blog to my live journal so that is cool and it is load off my mind in communicating with my members.

We will be contacting our wonderful designer for my blog…..update the software and every thing. I have my fingers crossed that he’ll be free to start it next week…….I’m so hoping. =) But you’ve seen how talented he is, so he is in demand.

This redirect really helps to take a load off……..and I posted on the WM post that I go to about it. Since I’ve done trades with some of them and it makes me look bad when I’m not able to offer anything in return.

Pool guy was here today and the pump is fixed. It has to run without a filter until all the chemicals get mixed so it doesn’t eat the filter up. Torn will be able to put the filter back in it tomorrow afternoon……and I should be able to use it by Sunday, even if it is not a perfect clear. =) I’m looking forward to Monday, my next day off…..grin…

Today was pretty much wasted for both Torn and myself. I can’t believe how much I had looked forward to these 2 days off and how they got shoot down……….by a pool pump and them messing up my blog. =( Let’s just say I’m not a happy camper. I would love to be here when the pool guy gets here tomorrow to tell him how he ruined my days off.

Having to go into work tomorrow is not helping, except she won’t be there and it’ll bring me one day closer to my next day off……….since these were wasted.

We did practice with the new camera remote. That was interesting and we did a quick video……..that was fun…………grin

I did get my dreamweaver set up and my photoshop settings, that that is one less thing that I need to worry about. Laundry & litters got done. I did a post on the members board and did up my profile.

And we finally watched a move that we have had record for a while now. We watched the Aviator, which was much better then I thought it would be. Boy, Howard Hughes had issues that is for sure.

Ho-hum……………that was my day………..it was hot and sticky and I couldn’t even enjoy it. So now I’m going to get ready for bed since I have to get up early tomorrow.

My day off has not gone as planned. For one, I can’t update my blog they are moving it and it disappearred. Ironically I had the window open for an update, was browsing a few news sites when Torn told me they were going to move it and I haven’t seen it since………it is lost in blog space…..I guess……lol The new hosts didn’t realize how much we use in bandwidth and have to adjust for it. I feel bad for that, since that means we slowed everyone else down. =(

The biggest dissappointment is, if you read Torn’s post, is the pool…..gggrrrr I was so looking forward to laying out, jumping in the pool when hot and sticky, setting up my laptop on that patio, again jumping in the pool while hot and sticky and giving him a blow job in the pool for a video (we haven’t done that yet).

I did figure out how to back up my emails so that is now uploading to the server. It shows only one or two files and, of course, didn’t click in my head that those one or two files are huge! They have been uploading since about 18:00-19:00hrs and they are only about 70% done.

I did set a reminder in my outlook to backup every 3 weeks. I rarely change much one I’m set, so it’ll mainly be for emails. The only thing left to set up in my site files for dreamweaver and my photoshop settings for resizing. Once I do that I have some nonporn pics I want to get done and up.

Speaking of which, emails are caught up! Thankfully. The virus and then the server moves really had put me behind. But I never did get to the message board today. I’m trying to think of what I want to do with my part of the forum. I’ll probably work on that tomorrow in between us doing shots…..which we really need to do. If we had thought of it, Torn just brought up that since the pool was out that we should’ve gotten a bed & breakfast for the night…..it gives us quailty time and content all at once……….duh….we weren’t thinking of course. =(

Lately I’ve just been going in and doing my job. The boss doesn’t seem to have the sense of urgency that I feel is needed to get things done. Maybe it is her laid back attitude. I don’t know. I will say that I can’t trust some one who deletes an email response that I recieved from our DM and not tell me about it. I know I will be confronting her about it, it is just a matter of when….cuz if I don’t confront her it will drive me nuts, I’m a major venter. Once I get it out, I’m usually fine and can deal with it even though I’m not happy. But I have to take time and think of how I’m going to approach it because I don’t trust my mouth when my temper gets going. I scare myself when I’m pissed. I’ve only fully lose my temper once in my life when I was a child and I don’t ever want to go there again.

This may be petty, but I didn’t tell that our boss called the other day, even though there was no new info to give her about our DM calling. Our DM is good about calling when other managers are there so she can get a feel of what is going on in the office. Unfortunately, I didn’t find the deleted email until I got off the phone so I didn’t tell her about that. But it is still in the box, I will be forwarding it to my private email as proof. I was too piss not to think about it at the time. =(

Enough of my belly aching…..lol I got to be a bum all day and finally catch up on 2 weeks of Time magazines, so I guess I did ok today. =)

Very cool! The gentlemen who has been setting up our members area has my blog linked and a few other things done. =) I’m very pleased. He is still working on an instant message system simarile to the one we had in the old members area. I didn’t realize how much I depended the message system on the old system until I tried to get the message out about my show.

To use the KatVixen part of the message board you will have to enter a password that is provided to you in my members area. I hope to get some posts into it Wednesday & Thrusday since those are my 2 days off.

There are probably still a bunch of little things that need to be done, but I’m happy that stuff that was bothering me is done. =)
