I’m getting ready to ride on into work. I had yesterday off.

We did some errands, paid rent and then came home to get some work done. I did some receipt entering and actually started on our taxes…….yuck. Turbo Tax did some changes so now I have to do some look ups on specific receipts.

I wanted to do a quick blog yesterday, but by the end I was not feeling so well. I find that when I spend a bit of time at the pc I get one of those headaches that aren’t quite hurting but gives me a nausea feeling. I just had my eyes checked 2 years ago and I was okay, maybe I’m due for another exam. I’m also wondering if I just get tired of being in the office. Either way I hate the feeling I get.

I orginally started this yesterday, but lost it. Hopefully I’ll be able to remember some of what I was going to say.

This week didn’t start out that good. The engine light came on in our truck. So Monday we had to take it in. We have a ton a work that needs to get done and got about half of it done. With my work schedule we hope to get the rest of it done within the next 2 weeks. The only good thing is that we won’t have to worry about it for awhile once it is all done.

I had Wed. & Thurs. off. We did some errands and then spent the majority of the time working on projects.

Torn is working on some long & tedious projects. I don’t know how he is doing it, he showed me what he was doing and I barely did 64th of what he is doing it and it was mind numbing and gave me a headache. But then lately, sitting at the pc (especially when my posture is off) has been giving me a nauase feeling. So that didn’t help.

We did take some time outs and laid out in the sun. It had gotten to about 82F those 2 days. Thursday we got so hot that Torn jumped into the pool, it was a chilly 74F. He talked me into coming in. Took me a bit before it started to feel good.

I’m going to have to finish this another time. My head feels horrible. =(

I hope everyone had a good Valentines day. I had to work early that day. Torn had roses, adobable teddy bears and a card waiting for me. The roses were a beautiful rainbow color assortment, with yellows, pinks, reds, and purples.

He had a great dinner ready for me when I got home and then we spent some quality time together.

Wednesday was an extremely long day. I had some huge projects to get done this week at work. So I went in early that day and ended up working a 12hr day. Since I had Thrusday off, I had really wanted to get as much done as possible. We got much more done then I thought we would. In fact we finished it up today. =) Considering how short handed we have been, I’m pretty damn proud of us.

We have a manager in training. She is nice, but I don’t think it is going to work. She is rubbing everyone wrong and doesn’t seem to fit in. We won’t fully know until our new boss starts next week. But it is leaning to the new girl not staying on. When you effect everyone, there is an issue.

Torn had picked up Aurora’s ashes. He had them on my desk waiting for me when I got home late Wednesday night. I lost it when I opened the card with her name on it. But I finally have a sense of closure with having her home. I have been cuddling with Aurora’s old towel, but since I have her ashes I’m not squeezing on to it as hard as I use to.

I have her tin of ashes on my desk, with her clay paw print and her collar in it. And I found that our new printer does very well with pictures, cuz I have her picture about my desk and I can look at it without crying.

I got my nails done Thursday and piddled around the house for my day off. I think after all the stress of trying to get things done at work, I just wanted to vegated. I’m looking forward to my next 2 days off…….Wednesday & Thursday. I really need to start in on the taxes, but I really don’t feel like doing them.

I have to get ready for bed, I have to be @ work by 6am for the next 2 days.

I don’t understand drama queens/kings.

They just don’t know when to let things go and of course, they always have to be right. They never take responsiblity for the trouble they have caused or the words they have stated. They swear that everyone else “twists” their words. It really sad, but annoying as hell. Everytime I see someone like that I shake my head and say to myself “what an idiot/ass, how stupid could they be”.

How the hell do they become that way?
