My baby is no longer suffering, but that is little comfort. I still miss our Randi and I sure didn’t want to go through it again, especially so soon.

Monday started out ok, for a day off. I had a show in the morning, had to topless chat only since mother nature decided to visit. We then went and did our errands that we had. Things were fine until we got back home.

We came home to a few messes that Aurora had. We cleaned her up and Torn took her outside since it seemed as if she was going to get sick. It was horrible, she couldn’t stay standing and fell down. =( I lost it.

We know that it is her age and her time, but I keep wondering if there is anything else we could do. So Torn called the vet and we are taking her in later today. If it time for her, we’ll do it on my day off Thursday. I know it is selfish, but I want a few more days.

When it was time for Randi, she had a blank stare, won’t meow, purr or give any indiction that she was with us, would move from one area to another and won’t sleep. Aurora is still meowing at us, growling when she wants to be left alone, as of Sunday, she was still looking at us when we eat for some of our meat. Not that she is eating much at all. It is a nibble here and there….occasional lick of water or cat milk that we got her.

I’m torn, I don’t want her to suffer anymore, but I don’t want to let her good yet. Like I told Torn, this sucks. =(

If you had read Torn’s post a few weeks ago, you know of the issues we’ve had with a local homeless guy, who is not all there.

Since then, Torn has gotten me my mace and I make sure I have easy access to it when riding.

I rode into to work Saturday and guess who I saw? That same sorry SOB. I saw him about 20yds out. I slowed down, got my mace ready and saw him do the same shit. Instead of riding on the his right, he moved to my right, and then started to tuck his head down and aimed for me when he was about 5-10 yds out I yelled “You try to run me off the road one more time motherfucker and I will mace your sorry ass!!!!”

His head came up real fast, stared at me, and put is hand out as if to say okay and moved away from me. I called Torn when I got to work, he was pissed off. He called the cops and they sent an officer out to talk to Torn. This one actually took a report and filed it. He knew exactly who we talking about.

The officer said he couldn’t arrest him but next time I shouldn’t even warn him, just mace him.

Torn talked to our lawyer he did say that the officer was incorrect, because when he aims for me and even when he misses it is assault.

So next time, that mother is going down. We’ve warned him and I’ve warned him by myself, so now he is free game. We haven’t done a damn thing to him and yet he keeps trying to run me off the sidewalk. He must have a thing for female bikers, cuz he sure in hell hasn’t tried it to Torn.

I was so aggravated and depressed Saturday that it actually helped me that I yelled and stood up to him. It got some of my aggression out……which I may get into later.

It was busy as heck at work that night, but we still got a lot accomplished so that was cool.

I had yesterday & today off. So we headed down to Ft. Lauderdale to visit with friends and do some shooting. Our friend Cleo took some pics of it and posted it on her blog.

We had a good time. We hadn’t seen Cleo and Angel in long time, so it was so nice to visit and chat.

We went shopping for me today. I got some new clothes. I will say that I’m lazy on clothes shopping. I love new clothes but I really hate process, it is so hard to find something that fits my chest. I don’t see how some folks can shop all day, just trying on clothes for an hour was exhausting.

But that is what has been happening. =)

Just been working. We did try to go out for dinner last night………but of course with it being Friday….lets just say we ended up with sandwiches when we aiming for steak….lol

I had one client that put a crimp in my day today………the jerk.

I have to be at work very early tomorrow. And I somehow need to find time to pack for our trip down to Ft. Lauderdale…..which I need everything, since it is a photo shot trip. We have a show Monday morning, and even though I just got my nails done…I need to get them done again for pictures. I’m going to have to do that Tuesday before work.

I’m not going to really get into it cuz I’ll start bawling, but it looks as if my oldest cat, Aurora, may be going through her final stage of life. She is giving all the same signs that Randi did before we had to have her put to sleep. I’m trying not to focus on it for obvious reasons and I keep hoping that we are wrong about…..but I’m not holding my breathe. So right now, I’m just trying to enjoy my time that I have left with her. =(

It was my day off today. We had decided last weekend that we would be painting the master bedroom. We also put up a new ceiling fan. The old one made lots of noise, didn’t always worked and some of the light sockets didn’t work on it. The new one has 4 working lights and we are trying out some “sunlight” bulbs. They are bright, doesn’t have the yellow of the others and they take a lot less power then regular bulbs.

So we first we got everything out of the room, broomed the very dusty ceiling, Torn fought with the fan for over an hour and then we started on the painting. It is looking good.

Once we get it back together I’ll take some pictures & get them posted. It probably won’t be until tomorrow night since I have to work early in the morning.

We are finally done with the seasonal crowds at work. It feels both good and weird…..when you don’t have to kill yourself to get something done.

I got a really sweet surprise the other day at work. A friend at work gave me a certificate for where I get my nails done for my birthday. She had actually gotten me a candle holder with a cat on it, but (very appropriately) her cats broke it and they threw up on my card. I just think that is so funny, since we are both cat people and we both are so use to our cats doing something funky in our lives. =)

We have already made plans for my next day off. I have 2 days off together and we planning on heading down to Ft. Lauderdale to spend it with friends. We are looking forward to getting out of here even if only for a day or two. =)

Well, it sucks……..I have to head back to work today. I haven’t had a fully weekend off since before Thanksgiving…..which gets old. But I did enjoy this weekend, even though the Colts lost. =(

I got all but one of the evaluations done, since his isn’t under the deadline. I really didn’t feel like doing them. A few that I had to do were on some of our best employees, those were hard in that you can’t just give them a perfect score, there is always room for improvement as a basic part of being human. So neat picking is involved. A few were on those that can do a good job but are so inconsistent and depends on their “moods” that I don’t feel that they have earned a raise. These evaluations are based on what I see, my manager needs to go over them and change what she sees as the general manager and then send them to our DM.

We are going to start prepping the master bedroom this week, so on my next day off we can be ready to attack with the paint brushes. =) We are tired of the white. Unfortunately, prepping is not as easy since I have a lot knick-knacks on my hutch that I need to take down so we can move it.

I did get some reorganizing done on some of my cat pictures that we have take over the years.

Mom called yesterday. Sounds like our oldest niece really enjoyed the books we sent. Told mom that our idea for the summer was for them to come down about a week before their anniversary, visit for a few days and then leave us the kids for a few weeks. This would be great for them not having to worry about the kids for their day.

Well, unfortunately I need to finish this up and get off to work. My bike wheel is fixed so I’m going to ride in and get some cardio in.
