I’ve just been working as normal. Nothing much else has been going on. Looking forward to my day off tomorrow, we have a few errands to run and then I plan on spending the rest of the day in the pool. =) I do have some reading for work that I need to do and other things….like lots of laundry……..lol

I try to post tomorrow and maybe I’ll be able to think of something else to say………lol

We just watch the shuttle take off from our neighborhood. We are about 50 miles south of Cape Carvnel, but we got to see it!

Of course, neither of us remembered to bring a camera………..lol

Alright, I got my Harry Potter done! Took me about 5 hrs today to finish off those last 450 pages……….lol It was good, I’m hating the wait for the last one. I’m going to get into what happens since I don’t want to spoil it for anyone who has not read it yet……Time magazine spoiled some of it for Torn =(

I spent the last 2 days actually enjoying my days off by spending a lot of time in the pool and just spending it with Torn (beside reading my book). I was planning on unpacking the last few boxes and start hanging the rest of our pictures, but I took the lazy way out instead, cuz I know I’m in for a heck of a week at work (which is a long story in itself).

I did nearly all my emails caught up & now I’m working on some family stuff. So have a fun night.

It was my 1st real day off of work since I got back from Indiana. We got the house cleaned and basically just spent the rest of the day chilling and enjoying our selves in the pool.

When we weren’t in the pool we were on the porch reading, until Torn spotted a few black widows. One was fine, he sprayed it with poison but when he found a few more…..the poison got everywhere so we went inside after that.

Torn had started on the latest Harry Potter, so I had only been able to read the 1st 100 pages…..so I tried to read other things, but I was on my Potter kick. So I went digging in the garage and found book 5 and did some rereading of that. Good thing he finished book 6…….a few characters in book 5 were pissing me off (I really get into my books………..lol).

I just wanted to stop in and give you a quick update cause I’m really itching to get back to my book. I will have it done tomorrow (my other day off for the week). I know I haven’t done much on keeping up…..but I’m taking some time to be selfish. =)

Just stopping in to say hi. I’ve been working 11-12 hr days since I got back. We have some very important deadlines to make this week & more for next week. Doesn’t help that we are losing one of our managers. =(

I’m so looking forward to having Sunday & Monday off. Then I could get my emails done & get a true blog entry about my weekend back at my folks & the wedding, spend time in the pool with Torn & just chill.

Torn didn’t sleep very well when I was gone & then he got a sinus infection so he hadn’t sleep very well until last night. I haven’t sleep since my mind wouldn’t shut off on work, but now that our main deadline has been meet I can crash good tonight.

We did take a few hours the last few days to finally watch “Ray” (brought when it came out)……I cried. It was a great movie. Jamie Foxx really did earn that oscar. Now I need to get that sound track…….and I still want “Shrek 2″ sound track. The next movie to watch is “Hotel Rwanda”, that one I’ve been putting off since I know it is going to effect me emotionally, even though I really want to see it.

I’m heading to bed, been up since just before 5am & my head is starting to spin.

**We did schedule a show on CamZ tomorrow @ 10am est. & more then likely we’ll have one on Sunday @ the same time.

For those who watch my housecamz, yup I’m back at home.

It was great to see Torn when I finally got past security at the airport. He had a cute stuffed white tiger for me…..grin…I have it on one of our computer towers watching me.

We stopped for a quick dinner & when we got home jumped into the pool for a little while just to spend some time together.

I did get all unpacked and got myself set up for going to work…….in fact, I stayed up a little too late & didn’t get all the sleep that I should have. But that is okay, makes it easier for me around the house on the things I need to get done.

I spent the day at work, so it is back to the grind. =)

I’m going to attempt to do a few emails & I have started on a journal entry about my trip, but it will take a day or two. =)

I’m here at mom & dad’s.

I had a normal flight up. It was different for me to leave Torn behind at the security line, but he went with me as far as he could. He had me text message him when I was boarded and when I landed. So I sent him a pic of me on the plane and one of dad when I landed. Dad meet me in the airport.

I totally forgot the king George (Bush) was speaking in Indy. I got to see a glimpse of Air Force One and I tried to take a pic, don’t know how well it came out yet….but that was the only cool part. We then got stuck waiting in traffic for a half hour. According to dad (he once helped to guard Air Force One & Two during the Clinton years) that they stop traffic for about 30-60 minutes before and after take off so they can move him.

My friend wasn’t able to come down, still has so much to do for the wedding. I’ll be taking off with dad’s car tomorrow to head on up & I’ll be coming back down Saturday afterwards.

Then Sunday, off to see more family.

Today I spent time visiting with mom, dad & the kids. Took pics of the place to see the different changes. I even jumped a few times on the trampoline (sp)…….lol

Now I need to iron my skirt. =)

We are gettin ready to leave for the airport. I don’t know when I’ll be on next. Mom & dad have dial up.

This is wierd, I’m not use to leaving Torn. I’ll miss him, but at least my family will keep me distracted. =)

I’ve been trying to get myself ready for the trip back to Indiana, while getting things done at work and around here. There is so much to do at work…..huge to do lists, that I can’t get out early to get things done that I need to get done here & for the trip. No matter what tomorrow, I have to get out on time or early. I have to get my nails done. I still have to work Wednesday night, but if I get them done tomorrow it gives them time harden up.

What sucks about it all is I haven’t been able to spend much time with Torn. =(

I’m looking forward to spending time with my family, I really miss them. I have never really ever lived this far from them & I was so use to seeing them on a weekly basis minimum. I just wish I had the time to see everyone more this weekend.

It will the 1st time I’ve traveled with out Torn so that will be really strange. I’m use to him handling everything……..lol When you are with someone for so long you get use to what areas you both handle that when something different comes up, it is just weird…..lol

**Alright, on to site news. Torn & Brett worked so hard trying to get the housecamz going but it would not work through out the house. He has ordered a different set of cables to see if it was the length (over 100ft) or the ends that were the issues, because the booster connectors work just fine. As soon as Torn gets the cables, he’ll be working to getting them going. We are sorry it is taking so long….but you know how crab happens……….lol

We did have the housecamz on the pool Friday so you got to see us play around some…..grin In fact that is how I got burnt (I’m feeling much better now….lol).

I did have my show on CamZ this past Sunday. It looks like next week’s show may be on Friday night or Saturday morning on the count of my work schedule and what time slot is open.

Well, needing to head to bed. =)

We spent the 1st part of the day cleaning. Torn worked on the pool & I attacked the spare bath & kitchen (we had a few more boxes to unpack for it).

It feels good to be making progress on our stuff & the place in general. We need to get shelves for the office closet so we can get that done up. Right now all our rubbermaid stuff is stacked up on the floor.

I still haven’t started packing. Just hard to pack the stuff that you are wearing………lol

I’m really looking forward to seeing everyone. I miss them, just hope I have time to see everyone. My flight leaves @ 11am Thursday & I’m back Monday abour 5:30pm. With what happened in London, I expect the security to take even longer.

We spent a few hours in the pool & I forgot to put some sort of sunscreen on, so now I’m red……at least on the front side……lol Good thing I got some color now, with Dennis hitting the west side of Florida it is going to be raining here the next few days. =(

I just hope everyone gets through Dennis okay…….keep everyone in your thoughts.
